The combination of Pluto and Capricorn is a manifestation of transformation through the law of contraction and restriction. This means learning how to live with less, being more selective, more cautious about how we spend. There is nothing new in that; Saturn has been in Virgo for some time. Astrologically this means that there is a connection between Saturn in Virgo and Pluto in Capricorn, since Capricorn’s natural ruler is Saturn.
One way to understand the law of contraction is through our understanding of the organizational and discriminatory qualities of Virgo. Saturn in Virgo directs us to take responsibility for the overall transformation of Pluto in Capricorn. Since Pluto is still in the early degrees of Capricorn, it will be interesting to see how this dynamic plays out in the months and years ahead.
The Law of Contraction has helped me on a physical level. Many of you know that I have lost 128 pounds in the last few years. Since Pluto moved into Capricorn, I have been more able to be content with less, rather than more. Now when I eat chocolate it is a mouthwatering experience, because it is so rare that I eat it. I walk instead of joining a gym. When Michael and I go to Burlington, which is an hour and a half away from our hometown of Jay, it is a mini-vacation – a day to be celebrated.
Excess jaded me. I appreciate more, and I celebrate the simple joys of living in a small community. Instead of going to a fancy dinner, we go line dancing; instead of taking those weekend getaways, we struggle through learning how to fox trot at ballroom dance class. Macy is mourning my absence, but consignment shops love me! The law of contraction is a blessing for me. My clients, also, are comforted by their own versions of the blessings of the Law of Contraction. They are feeling more gratitude for what they do have and in so doing, experience more joy.
