July 1st is not only the first of the month, it also starts the unofficial countdown to 4th of July festivities. The Sun is midpoint Mars and Jupiter, bringing a day of positive action, good work and business activity. On separate note, I hope everyone remembers to practice safe sex, since with the Venus/Neptune=Zeus configuration infection can occur if not careful. As if that’s not enough, Mercury will be squaring Uranus, with plans, projects and promises suddenly and unexpectedly changing. Be careful, as this can feed into the Saturn 22 1/2 degrees to Venus/Mars occurring at the same time bringing potential problems in the romance department. Next, Venus in aspect to Neptune, tied to Saturn, reminds us to keep track of our money and how it’s spent. The Mercury Venus Neptune energy can also represent music tied in with the sorrow of Saturn, indicating the passing of a music legend.
On the 2nd of July, the holiday weekend starts early as the Sun is sesquaquadred Neptune and Jupiter, with many “out to lunch.” Others will be praying that the holiday weekend will not be rained out, especially on the East Coast. In addition, Mercury will square Uranus, bringing in the cardinal axis and Hades — be very careful driving on this day. We could also hear some more unexpected sad news.
On the 3rd, everyone leaving or arriving to celebrate the July 4th holiday weekend will be on the road, as foretold by Mercury at 0 degrees cardinal. This could also bring some news about Michael Jackson’s wake or funeral, and people could be flocking to view his body. In addition Venus + Mars = Sun, and pleasure as well as romance will be the name of the game. On the 4th, Venus + Jupiter, Neptune = Sun. This combo brings fun in the sun, but watch for the hangover once the weekend is over. Remember, never never trust Neptune, especially when it is involved with Venus. Watch your heart and your money — though not necessarily in that order.
On Monday the 6th, Mars will be squaring Jupiter and Neptune. Noone will be in the mood to work. It will seem like you’re running around in circles and getting nothing accomplished. It’s also the eve of the lunar eclipse. Lunar eclipses are full moons magnified threefold. In this case it’s magnified tenfold. The reason? As the lunar eclipse of July 7th + Saturn = Pluto, you may have trouble completing a project or two due to financial cutbacks or freezes. This is going to be a day of big money fears. Whenever Pluto and Saturn and the Sun are forming a planetary picture, the financial outlook is not good for that day. The market should be down on the 6th and 7th.
As we reach the 8th, Mercury will be 22 1/2 degrees to Saturn, and the midpoint is=Hades. News about the prescription drugs Michael Jackson had been taking, or other bad news, may hit the air waves. On the 9th, Mercury will be semi-square Neptune, Jupiter and Admetos. Watch your money and look for any small discrepancies. If you’re buy anything that day, count your change. Again, it’s necessary to check your bank and credit card statements for errors this month — especially now. Don’t leave your computer, cell phone, iPod or handbag unattended, even for a second. It could disappear.
The 10th brings Mercury semi-square Mars. Walk away from antagonistic remarks to ensure that communications don’t turn hostile. Since the 10th is a Friday, be careful while traveling to your summer getaway. The week ends with Mars + Pluto = Saturn, and the best layed plans of mice and men can blow up in your face. This can have you looking for some excitement or momentary pleasure to feel better. The weekend begins with Sun 22 1/2 degrees to Uranus and ends with Venus Mars midpoint, 22 1/2 degrees to Uranus, with Mars changing sign. For some, the theme will be “eat, drink and be merry for tomorrow we die.”
Monday the 13th arrives and the Sun appears to shine even if there is cloud cover. It’s Sun+Venus=0 Aries, Pluto. This aspect brings a moment of financial optimism and the stock market should close up. The next two days, Sun and Mercury will be dancing with Pluto and the cardinal axis, and a big announcement by some powerful people will hit the air waves. The 16th and 17th with Mercury, Sun + Venus = Kronos, it could be a good time to ask for a raise or go after that promotion you’ve had your eye on. Add Cupido to the equation on the 18th and 19th and it can be a good time for social gatherings that include music, dance, or art. At the same time, Sun+ Uranus= Neptune, Jupiter, so leave your worries behind and enjoy your swim in the pool or the sea.
It’s back to economizing on Monday the 20th, as Jupiter and Neptune are 22 1/2 degrees to Venus and Saturn, followed by Venus conjunct Saturn on the 21st as we get ready for the Solar eclipse on the 22nd. This eclipse falls at the end of a sign and sets the theme for July 22nd through the 27th. Mars will be dancing in a semi-square configuration beginning with Saturn and Uranus. This can mean frustration, and Venus adds a fickle component, with disruptive problems in relationship and concerns on the financial front. On the late afternoon of the 27th and the 28th, Mars will be 45 degrees to Uranus, and sudden disruptions and accidents can occur. Be careful when driving, exercising, handling machinery or lifting anything larger than a bread box.
The month ends with Sun/Mars=Saturn/Uranus as work frustrations and problems are met with brick walls. Attempts to come up with workable solutions run into road blocks. July closes with Mercury opposite Neptune indicating a potential for double talk, lies and deception. An important note: don’t agree to anything between the July 29th and August 3rd, especially if money is involved.
